Tip: For best results and added safety, we recommend 2 people to install.

1. Getting ready with tools

  • Scissors
  • Double-Sided Tape
  • Screwdriver or Drill: Secure the diffuser using the provided screws and either a screwdriver or a drill.

2. For best results, the application surface must be completely clean and free of any dirt, dust, or grease.

3. Wipe the diffuser clean to remove any residue or contaminants.

4. Ensure the surface is completely dry and cool before you begin the installation.

5. After cleaning the surface, you can start preparing to install the rear diffuser. For extra adhesion, we highly recommend using a 1-inch roll of 3M tape. Cut multiple pieces of the tape and apply them evenly along the edges of all three diffuser sections.

6. Remove the backing from the 3M tape on the diffuser: Start with the center piece. Align it with the stock diffuser, and have a friend hold it in place while you secure it. Using a drill, insert the screws through the marked locations on the diffuser and into the stock panel. Be sure to space the screws evenly. Once the middle piece is secure, repeat the process for the left and right side pieces. Make sure they align correctly with the center piece for a flush and secure fit.

7. Final Inspection

  • Confirm the diffuser is securely and evenly aligned with the stock panel.
  • Firmly press along all the taped areas to reinforce the bond.
  • Ensure all screws are properly tightened, but avoid overtightening to prevent damage.

Post-Installation Guidelines

  • Avoid washing the car or driving at high speeds for 24 hours to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
  • Periodically inspect the screws and taped areas to ensure the rear diffuser remains secure over time.
